Dr Haren Nandapalan

Dr Nandapalan is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with Subspecialty interests and training in Shoulder, Elbow and Hand Surgery. He specializes in Arthroscopic, Reconstructive and Arthroplasty Surgery for Sports and Degenerative conditions.

Dr Nandapalan completed his undergraduate Medical Degree in 2008 at the University of Newcastle. He was accepted into the Australian Orthopaedic Association Training program in 2012 during which he worked at some of the largest trauma centres and Upper Limb units in the country.

He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) in 2018. Dr Nandapalan then completed a world renowned Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship with the Sydney Shoulder Research Institute (SSRI).

His passion is Upper limb and Trauma surgery along with an enthusiasm for teaching. Dr Nandapalan is currently a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney School of Medicine and participates in education for the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Dr Nandapalan’s priority is to ensure his patients are well informed and can make educated decisions on how to manage their conditions. 

He works in both public and private hospitals in Sydney and regional NSW.
